Compania Cisco Systems®, lider mondial in tehnologie si inovatie, prin reprezentanta sa din Romania, si Ministerul Educatiei si Cercetarii din Romania, au stabilit un parteneriat, convenind aderarea la programul CISCO Networking Academy®. La acest program au aderat peste 191 de tari, cu peste 24 milioane de cursanti(studenti) incepand cu anul 1997.

Programul Cisco Networking Academy se desfasoara in Romania in baza unui Protocol Strategic de Colaborare semnat intre Ministerul Educatiei si Cercetarii din Romania si Cisco Systems; el este menit sa aduca la zi si sa completeze cunostintele persoanelor interesate in domeniul retelelor de calculatoare, in general IT&C.

Fundatia pentru promovarea Tehnologiei Informatiei si Comunicatiei (ICT Foundation), Constanta, este inclusa in acest program, prezenta activa de peste 25 ani, perioada in care absolventii nostri s-au integrat intr-un mod remarcabil pe piata fortei de munca in IT&C, pe plan national si international. Programul este coordonat de Eugen PETAC, Conferentiar Universitar Dr., Cisco Instructor Excellence Award, Cisco Instructor Excellence Advanced,, Cisco Instructor Years of Service .

Beneficiile parteneriatului stabilit sunt:
- Studentii (cursantii) primesc instruire adecvata pentru incadrare in meserii din domeniul IT&C.
- Societatile comerciale beneficiaza de specialisti in tehnologiile informatiei si comunicatiilor, instruiti si atestati corespunzator.

La sfarsitul fiecarui curs studentii obtin un Certificat de absolvire a fiecarui semestru, eliberat de Cisco Systems si contrasemnat de ICT Foundation, Constanta, in care se indica volumul si tipul materialelor studiate, precum si competentele absolventului. Un curs se considera absolvit cu rezultate f.bune, la atingerea unui procentaj de minim 80%. Acest procentaj se obtine ca rezultat a bunei pregatiri a cursantului, ca efect al acumularii cunostiintelor teoretice si practice corespunzatoare, si in urma sustinerii cu succes a unor examene on-line pe serverul Cisco din USA, precum si a desfasurarii activitatilor practice de laborator. Examenele on-line sustinute si activitatile practice, desfasurate in laboratorul institutiei noastre, vizeaza fiecare capitol in parte, la care se adauga si evaluari prefinala si finala.

Fundatia pentru promovarea Tehnologiei Informatiei si Comunicatiei (ICT Foundation), Constanta, Romania, a fost distinsa in aprilie 2016 cu premiul "2015 Academy Curriculum Excellence Award", in semn de recunoastere a activitatii si contributiei la programul Cisco Networking Academy®. Premiul este acordat anual unei academii din fiecare regiune, pe baza unui proces riguros de selectie, ca rezultat al atingerii excelentei in procesul de predare in cadrul programului Cisco Networking Academy. Conf.univ.dr. Eugen Petac a primit premiul in numele Fundatiei pentru promovarea Tehnologiei Informatiei si Comunicatiei.



Cisco Systems®, lider mondial in Information and Communications Technology - ICT a elaborat programul de pregatire CCNA (Cisco Certified Networking Associate), unic prin continutul si structura sa.

CCNA® (Cisco Certified Networking Associate) reprezinta un curs teoretic si practic. Pregatirea este personalizata, pentru fiecare cursant in parte, in cadrul Fundatiei pentru promovarea Tehnologiei Informatiei si Comunicatiei (ICT Foundation), Constanta. Partea teoretica este in limba engleza si poate fi accesata on-line. Aceasta este prezentata si documentata ritmic in cadrul programului de pregatire, in procesul de instruire desfasurat sub conducerea unui cadru didactic. Partea practica se desfasoara in laboratorul Cisco Academy® al Fundatiei pentru promovarea Tehnologiei Informatiei si Comunicatiei, Constanta, dotat cu sisteme de calcul, software, simulatoare si echipament Cisco Systems® necesar. In timpul cursului, studentii (cursantii) isi insusesc fundamentele retelelor de calculatoare si a comunicatiilor de date, incepind de la end device-uri si intermediate device-uri, continuand cu retelele LAN (Local Area Network) de dimensiuni mici si medii, si pina la lucrul cu retelele WAN (Wide Area Network).

De la retelele din anii '80 care foloseau cablu coaxial subtire si care deserveau in cel mai bun caz o cladire, s-a ajuns in acest moment in situatia cand, practic, nu mai exista calculatoare, sisteme de calcul, sisteme inteligente in general, care nu sunt interconecate in retea si la Internet. Tehnologiile folosite in comunicatiile de date sunt tot mai sofisticate, rata de crestere a numarului de utilizatori a fost exponentiala in ultimul deceniu. Practic, toate domeniile de activitate folosesc retelele de calculatoare in diverse scopuri, in contextul implementarii si utilizarii pe scara larga a noilor tehnologii inteligente.

Pentru asigurarea unor servicii de comunicatii de date profesionale s-a dovedit ca nu sunt suficiente echipamente profesionale. Este nevoie si de personal calificat si cu un grad inalt de specializare. Dezvoltarea carierei absolventilor nostri este un deziderat la indeplinirea caruia contribuim printr-un nivel ridicat de calitate a actului didactic, corespunzator desfasurarii tuturor activitatilor, teoretice si practice, de la Fundatia pentru promovarea TI&C (ICT Foundation), Constanta.

Cisco® a creat noua versiune a programului CCNA, versiunea CCNA v7 (CCNA v7®, trei semestre) ca raspuns la solicitarile tuturor celor interesati: companii, personal de specialitate, instructori si studenti/cursanti, in contextul cerut de dezvoltarea actuala si imediat viitoare a societatii. Cursurile furnizeaza lectii relevante, cu aspecte practice, fiind insotite de studii de caz si materiale practice de laborator. Functie de realizarile si obiectivele lor educationale/academice, in contextul unei pregatiri de baza ce vizeaza un anumit nivel de formare profesionala, programele de pregatire CCNA se adreseaza unor niveluri diferite de studenti/cursanti, de la cei care cunosc notiunile de baza ale calculatorului, continuand cu cei cu aptitudini analitice, pasionati de dezvoltarea sistemelor software, inginerie, administrare de sistem/retea.

Absolventii programului CCNA beneficiaza de discount-uri de 58% pentru sustinerea acestei certificari.

Programul CCNA v7, organizat pe trei semestre, este recomandat celor care isi doresc acumularea de cunostinte aprofundate in domeniul retelelor de calculatoare, in general al interconsctarii sistemelor inteligente. Acest curs poate fi urmat de studentii/ absolventii de la facultatile de informatica si de profil tehnic, precum si de inginerii de sistem/ administratorii de retea din cadrul diferitelor organizatii. In acelasi timp, elevii si absolventii de liceu pasionati de acest domeniu, pot obtine rezultate f. bune in procesul de pregatire.

Cele trei semestre se parcurg in aceasta ordine, cu posibilitatea ca semestrele doi si trei sa se desfasoare in acelasi timp. Inscrierea in unul din semestre este conditionata de promovarea semestrului anterior.

Cursul Cisco CCNA Security® completeaza programul CCNA cu un al patrulea semestru, recomandat pentru asigurarea unei pregatiri corespunzatoare cerintelor actuale. CCNA Security (un semestru) poate fi urmat dupa finalizarea primelor doua semestre sau dupa finalizarea celor trei semestre de mai sus.


Curriculum Description

CCNAv7® teaches comprehensive networking concepts, from network applications to the protocols and services provided to those applications by the lower layers of the network. Students will progress from basic networking to more complex enterprise and theoretical networking models later in the curriculum.


The CCNAv7® curriculum offers the following features and benefits:

CCNA v7: Introduction to Networks (ITN)

The first course in the CCNA curriculum introduces the architectures, models, protocols, and networking elements that connect users, devices, applications and data through the Internet and across modern computer networks including IP addressing and Ethernet fundamentals.

By the end of the course, students can build simple local area networks (LAN) that integrate IP addressing schemes, foundational network security, and perform basic configurations for routers and switches.

Students learn key switching and routing concepts. They can perform basic network configuration and troubleshooting, identify and mitigate LAN security threats, and configure and secure a basic WLAN.

The third CCNA course describes the architectures and considerations related to designing, securing, operating, and troubleshooting enterprise networks including wide area network (WAN) technologies & quality of service (QoS) mechanisms for secure remote access, along with software defined networking, virtualization, & automation concepts supporting network digitization.

Students gain skills to configure and troubleshoot enterprise networks, and learn to identify and protect against cybersecurity threats. They are introduced to network management tools and learn key concepts of software defined networking, including controller based architectures and how application programming interfaces (APIs) enable network automation.

Locul de desfasurare: Fundatia pentru promovarea Tehnologiei Informatiei si Comunicatiei.

Deschiderea cursului: imediat dupa achitarea taxei de participare. Se lucreaza pe mini-grupe de lucru, cu un program de pregatire personalizat pentru fiecare cursant in parte, desfasurat in cadrul a doua sedinte pe saptamana.

Durata cursului: Fiecare semestru are o durata recomandata de minim 45 zile si maxim 6 luni, functie de disponibilitatea fiecarui cursant in parte, cu respectarea tuturor standardelor impuse de programul Cisco Networking Academy, avand in vedere o foarte buna pregatire teoretica si practica a cursantilor. Pentru grupe organizate la nivelul unor institutii/persoane juridice, se poate fixa un program special de pregatire, in raport cu cerintele beneficiarului.
